description=En 1932 cuando el Perú invadió el sur de Colombia el gobierno nacional tubo que recurrir al gigante del norte para que nos proporcionara material bélico para poder hacerle frente a la nueva amenaza. Así en 1932 llegaron 30 aviones Hawk F-11 C-2 los cuales fueron numerados desde el FAC 800 hasta el 829. Tuvieron grandes actuaciones sobre el 14 de febrero de 1933 cuando 7 Hawk participaron en la acción de Tarapacá. Por desgracia fue un Hawk el que causo la desgracia de Santa Ana, cuando el hawk de Abadía al salir de un royo se precipito contra el suelo luego de golpear el palco presidencial, dejando 93 muertos y 201 heridos. Los Hawk estuvieron en servicio hasta 1945, año en el que fueron dados de baja definitivamente.
